We’re Alive!
April 1, 2006—After much trial and tribulation we are excited to finally have our website up and running. We appreciate your interest and encourage you to offer suggestions on how we can improve the site.
New Wood Shutter Distinction
April 1, 2006—The Blinds Connection is proud to announce that we have earned designation as the only authorized dealer and installer of Heritance wood shutters in Central Pennsylvania. Earning this designation is part of our ongoing commitment as a Hunter Douglas Priority Dealer and is predicated on the completion of an intensive 2-day product training seminar specifically for Heritance. The sessions focused on the intricacies of proper design and installation of the Heritance line, and also provide excellent general insight into minimizing the challenges that shutter installations can pose.
We are excited about the durability and quality of this new shutter offering and although we plan to continue assessing and adding additional shutter lines, our direct relationship with Hunter Douglas’ regional manufacturing facility will continue to afford us excellent pricing, availability, production turnaround times, and support.
Second Mile Art Auction
April 1, 2006—The annual Second Mile Art Auction will be held Friday, April 28th at the Ramada Inn. Founded by former Penn State football defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky, the Second Mile is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to helping at risk teens by providing a variety of support services. The Blinds Connection and the Closet Connection, in concert with Hunter Douglas, have teamed to provide a significant discount package on window coverings or a custom closet as an auction item this year. We are proud of the opportunity to help support the Second Mile and encourage others to consider providing the gift of time or money at your discretion.
